Today there was the first semi final in the Iceladic preselection for ESC 2022 - Songvakeppnin 2022.

בחצי הגמר הראשון השתתפו 5 שירים אבל רק 2 שירים העפילו לגמר. 2 השירים נבחרו על ידי קהל המצביעים בלבד. לרשות השידור האיסלנדית שמורה הזכות לבחור בשיר אחד  נוסף מתוך השירים אשר לא העפילו לגמר משני חצאי חצאי הגמר. סה:כ יתמודדו בגמר 5 שירים בלבד.

5 songs participated in the first sewmi final but only 2 songs went to final. The 2 songs were chosen by public televoting only. RUV reserve the right to choose another 1 songs from the 2 semifinals (Wild Card) and that's brings to 5 songs in the final.

להלן 5 השירים אשר התמודדו היום בחצי הגמר הראשון. יש לציין שהיום האומנים שרים בשפה האיסלנדית בלבד אולם בגמר הם יכולים לשיר בשפה אותה הם מעדיפים. שפת השיר שהם ישירו בגמר יהיה אותה שפה בה הם ישירו את השיר בתחרות האירוויזיון אשר תתקיים בחודש מאי 2022 בטורינו שבאיטליה.

In the first semi final the Icelandic singers have to sing their song in the icelandic language only. Alas in the final they can sing in any language they wish too but in the Eurovision Song Contest yhey will sing in the same language they sang in the Final itself.

The fourth semi final in the Swedish Melodfestivalen- The Swedish preselection for ESC 2022 was held today.

בחצי הגמר  הרביעי השתתפו 7 שירים אבל רק 4 שירים עברו לשלב הבא. 2 השירים אשר הגיעו לשני  המקומות הראשונים הבטיחו את מקומם בגמר שייערך ב-12/3/22.

In the fourth semifinal 7 songs participated  but only 4 songs proceeded to the other stages  of the melodfesticvalen 2022. The first 2 songs proceeded to the final on 12/3/22.

שירים שהגיעו למקומות 3-4 ינתן להם צ'אנס נוסף  להתחרות בגלגל ההצלה (חצי גמר 5) המתקיים שבוע  לפני גמר קדם השבדי לתחרות אירוויזיון 2022.

Somgs that reaced the 3-4 places proceeded tio the second chance (Semi Final 5)  where they will get another chance  to compete again  and go to the inal too.

France unveiled today the songs participating in C'est Vous Qui Decidez! The French preselection for ESC 2022.

There are going to be 3 rounds of voting. In the first round  the public will vote for 5 songs and the songs that got the highest point will proceed to the Super Final. Then the Jury are going to 1 song that did not go to thefinal. Altogether in the Super Final there are going to be 6 songs for voting. The songs that gets the highest points from the Pblic and the Jury (50%/50%) is going to hoist the French Flag on May 2022  in The  Eurovision Song Contest in  Turin Italy..
