בעקבות נצחונה של ארמניה בתחרות שהתקיימה בפריז בשנה שעברה הוחלט כי ירוואן תארח את התחרות השנה ביום ראשון 11/12/22. התחרות תתקיים באותו אולם בה כהתקיימה התחרות בשנת 2011.
This year the Junioreurovision is going to be held in Yerevan Armenia. It is going to be in the same arena as it used to be in 2011.

In Georgia 3 programmes is being broadcasted. !0 artists are competing for representing their country in JESC 2022. In the first 2 programmes the 10 artists sang their cover songs. In the third programme the fiorst 5 artists conpeted again.

The Nethelands begun, also their auditions and in the first programmes 17 artists conopeted. This progrmme is a part of 4 televised programmes.
 
פולין הודיעה שהתכנית Szansa Na Sukces תמשיך לבחור את הנציג הפולני לתחרות אירווזיון הילדים. כעת נערכים אודישנים למתמודדים שבסופו שלה יקבעו מי הם המתמודדים אשר ישתתפו בתכנית.
Poland confirmed that the programme Sznasa Na Suckces is going to select their representative for JESC 2022. In the currne moment they are doing their auditions of artista who had submitted their candidacies

עוד לא עבר שבוע מאז נצחונה של אוקראינה בתחרות וכבר ביום שישי הקרוב נערכת פגישה ראשונה בין רשות השידור האוקראינית ואיגוד השידור האירופי לגבי אירוח התחרות באוקראינה.
כידוע אוקראינה נמצאת במצב לוחמה עם רוסיה וקץ המלחמה טרם נראה באופק. נשאלת השאלה האם אוקראינה תהיה מסוגלת לארת התחרות בתנאים הקיימים שם. להזכירכם התחרות שהתקיימה בקייב בשנת 2005 לוותה בחששות כבדים באם תתקיים או לאו אולם בסופו של דבר לאחר התייצבות המצב הפוליטי שם התחרות התקיימה בסופו של דבר בקייב..
We are in a less than a week since the ESC 2022 is over. In coming friday there is the first meeting between the Ukrainian TV and EBU about organising the contest in Ukraine 2023. As you know probaly there is a constant war between Ukraine and Russia at the moment. The question is whether Ukraine is capable of hosting the contest or not. In 2005 there was a similar situation and although Ukraine had it's Orange Revolution , at last the contest held in Kyiv Ukraine.
לפני שפונים לפאן הבינלאומי אוקראינה צריכה להחליט האם עדיין לאסור על אומנים שעברו על החוק שלה לייצג אותה בתחרות או לאו. באם היא מחליטה שהחוק הקיים ישאר על כנו עליה לאסור מלכתחילה לאומנים להגיש את המועמדות שלהם לקדם האוקראיני Vidbir.השיא הגיע כשהתחרות התקיימה בתל אביב והזמרת Marov נאלצה לוותר על השתתפותה בתחרות האירווזיון כי היא עברה על חוקי המדינה השוררים בארצה. יתרה מזו הוצע לאמנים אשר הגיעו למקומות השני והשלישי לייצג את ארצם בתחרות שהתקיימה בתל אביב אבל הם דחו את ההצעה ובסופו של דבר אוקראינה נאלצה לבטל את השתתפותה בתחרות. מן הראוי שרשות השידור האוקראיני תאסור מלכתחילה על האומנים להגיש את המועמדות שלהם. בקלות ניתן לבדוק באם האמן עבר על חוקי המדינה או לאו באמצעות בדיקה במערכת ביקורת הגבולות שלהם. באם הם לא מסוגלים לבדוק זאת עליהם לבטל ההגבלה הזאת כליל. להזיכרכם גם השנה הזמרת שזכתה במקום הראשון נאלצה לבטל את השתתפותה בטענה שעברה על החוק ולהקת Kaluch Orchestra שזכתה במקום השני קיבלה את כרטיס הטיסה לתחרות האירוויזיון 2022 בטורינו וזכתה בו.
Before dealing with the global situation Ukraine has to decide about the law that enable the local artists representing their country if they breach the law and entered the Crimea peninsula not through the official Ukrainian crossing points. There was a lot of artists who had won the local Vidbir but did not get the ticket to Eurovision. In Vidbir in 2019 Maruv won the Ukrainian preselection but she did not get the ticket to Tel - Aviv because she had breached the laws. The offer to represent Ukraine in Tel Aviv was offered to the artists who had reached the second and the third place but they turn it down and Ukraine at last cancelled it's participation in ESC in Tel-Aviv 2019. Even this year first the Vidbir was a day before the war between the 2 countries begun and the singer was won the preselection had to resign because she breached the laws and the offer was given to Kalush Orchestra who had reached the second place and of course they accept the offer represented Ukraine and even won the contest.
תקווה אני שמחול השדים מצד רוסיה לא יתחיל כפי שאחננו היינו עדים לו בשנת 2016 שאוקראינה זכתה בתחרות שהתקיימה בשטוקהולם ומאז רשות השידור הרוסית ניסתה לנקוט בכל האמצעים כדי שהתחרות לא תתקיים בשנת 2017 באוקראינה אבל בסופו של דבר הנסיונות שלה נכשלו.השנה השמועות רצות שהיה נסיון של התקפת האקרים בגמר האירווזיון אבל איגוד השידור האירופי הדף אותם
Hopefully that Russia won't start the scenario that was in 2016.In 2016 Russia tried to do what ever she could to remove Ukraine from hosting the contest in 2017 but all her attempts failed. Moreover this year there were a hacker attack during the Grand Final but the hackers failed in their attempts.
בינתיים כמה רשתות שידור באירופה הציעו לארח את התחרות במידה ואוקראינה לא תוכל לעשוות זאת או לעמוד בתנאים שאיגוד השידור האירופי יציב בפניהם. כבר היו מדינות שלמרות זכייתן בתחרות לא אירחו את התחרות בארצם. האחרונה שבהם היתה מדינת ישראל שזכתה בתחרות שהתקיימה בירושלים בשנת 1979. רשות השידור הישראלית העבירה את שרביט האירוח להולנד בטענה שמבחינה כספית היא לא תוכל לארח שוב התחרות בשנת 1980. התחרות הועברה להולנד אבל בשל העובדה שזה נפל ביום הזיכרון ישראל ביטלה את השתתפותה בתחרות. באם אוקראינה לא תוכל לארח את התחרות נראה לי סביר שאירוח התחרות תוצא לאנגליה שהגיעה למקום השני בתחרות.
Several countries had also asked to host the contest next year in case Ukraine is not capable of doing so. There was some incidents that countries who had won the contest did not host it in the next year. Isreal won the contest in 1979 and due to financial difficulties IBA could not host the contest again in 1980. Holland had replaced Israel and Israel did not participate due to the face that the contest was one in the official memorial days in Israel. I think Uk should host the contest in case Ukraine could not host it because she reached the second place in Turin

אוקראינה כצפוי זכתה בתחרות אירוויזיון 2022. מלכתחילה זה היה צפוי שתזכה בתחרות כאות הזדהות למאבקה עם רוסיה. נקווה שהמלחnה בינה לבין רוסיה לא תתחלחל בזירה זו באם היא יכולה לארח התחרות או לאו. בסרט הזה כבר היינו.
Ukraine at it was expected won the ESC 2022. Hopefully the rival between Ukraine and Russia wont effect Ukrainian's preparations of Ukraine to ESC 2023.
ואיך אפשר מבלי להזכיר את ישראל. ובכן ישראל היתה המדינה הראשונה בה החלו את מסע הפרסום שלהם. הם הופיעו במסגרת המופע Israel calling. גם בישראל הם עשו את הקלטת הגיבוי שלהם במקרה ולא יוכלו להופיע מכל סיבה שהיא בתחרות האירוויזיון.
Kalush Orchestra made their first promotional tour in Israel Calling 2022 and also they made as well their back up video in Israel

ובכן אנחנו בגמר אירוויזיון 2022. ללא ספק זה אחד האירווזיונים השונים ביותר מאז שהתחלתי לסקור את התחרויות משנת 2007.
Well we are in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest. This is one of the peculiar Eurovision contests since I started to report about the various contests since 2007.
בעקבות הפרשיות עם מיכאל בן דויד נזכרתי שבתחרויות אירווזיון 2007 האנשים אשר קיבלו אקרדיטציה נתבקשו לחתום על טופס בהם הם מתחייבים לכסות את עלויות השהות שלהם שם. מודה אני שלא הייתי באתונה בה התקיים האחירוויזיון שנה לפני כן אבל כתוצאה מהתנהלות הישראלים שם שבאו לצפות בתחרות שם דרשה רשות השידור שמי שמהאוהדים והעיתונאים שנוסע להלסינקי יחתום על המסמך. מה שנראה לי כמובן מאליו שאני מכסה את עליוית הנסיעה שלי לא נראה כמובן מאליו לאנשים אחרים אשר נסעו לאתונה שנה לפני כן.
Following the incidences occurred with Michael Ben David i remembered that those who were accreidated in 2007 were asked to sing a paper saying that they are going to cover their expenses in ESC 2007. For me it was obvious that i am going to cover my travelling expenses in Helsinki Finland. What was obvious to me was not probably obvious to fans atteding the Eurovision Song Contest that was in Athens in 2006.
השנה איגוד השידור האירופי חתם הסכם עם עם טיק טוק והמעניק להם הבלעדיות בסיקור החזרות הראשונות למעשה הם הפיקו סרטונים בני 1:00 מכל מדינה בה נכללו הגעת האןמנים לאולם. התגובה שלהם כשראו את האולם , קטע קצרצר מהחזרה שלהם ולבסוף ראיונות עימם.. דבר זה גרם לנוכחות מועטה ביותר בקרב העיתונאים בסבב הראשון של מסיבות העיתונאים ולפעמים לא היו כלל אנשים באולם. מי יטריח את עצמו למסיבות עיתונאים כשלמעשה לא יכל לראות כלום מהחזרות כולל האנשים אשר שהו במרכז העיתונות. בשנים עברו ניתן היה לראות את החזרות על גבי מסכים שהוצבו במרכז העיתונאים אבל הצילום מהם נאסר כלל ומי שעז לצלם מהמסכים , האקרידיטמיה שלו נשללה מיידית.
This year was a big changes in the press center. In previous years on the first reherasals journalists could view the reherasals from the LED screens located in the press room.. This year due to the contract that EBU signed with Tik Tok they got their exclusiveness to video the first reherasalas. Of course the media people were not able to watch the first rehearsals on screens. This caused that there were a few people attended the Meet the Press conferences(First Rehearsals)
בחזרות השניות העיתונאים יכלו לראות את החזרות מהאולם אבל הכניסה לאולם נאסרה כליל בניגוד לשנים קודמות בה הותר להם להיכנס לאולם החזרות.. הפעם כמות העיתנאים שהיו נוכחים באולם העיתונות היתה גדולה במעט מהחזרות בחזרות הראשונות. גם אלו אשר היו במרכז הראו שמרכז העיתונות היה למעשה ריק מאנשים.
In the second reherasals people were able to see the rehersals through the LED screens but the acess to the arena was still forbidden. This was in contrary to previous years before where the media could enter the arena itself.
רק בחזרות הגנרליות הותר לעיתונאים להיות נוכחים באולם בו התקיימה התחרות.
Only in the dress reherasals journalists were allowed to enter the arena itself.
התנהגות - אין אני בא לשפוט אם מיכאל בן דויד היה במיטבו או לאו אבל קצת דרך ארץ לא היתה מזיקה לו. אני מצרף את מסיבת העיתונאים השנייה בו הוא עבר את הגבולות של הטעם הטוב. נכון כולם מודעים שהוא בא מהלהטבים ויש לא מעט האמנים שייצגו את מדינותיהם הנמנים מאוכלוסיה זו אבל אף אחד לא התנהג בצורה מחפירה בה הוא התנהג. למעשה במסיבת העיתונאים השנייה הוא התמרח על כולם דבר שגרם לאי נוחות בקרב הצופים. כמו כן בניגוד לפעמים קודמות אף אחד מאנשי המשלחת לא ישב לידו דבר שיכל אולי למתן את התנהגותו.. כמו כן התייחס לעניינים פוליטיים דבר הנוגד את תקנות איגוד השידור האירופי.(הלוחמה בין אוקראינה ורוסיה)
Behaviour - I am not going to comment on the song IM sang by Michael Ben David but i do comment about his misbehaviour. I am enclosing the second press conference and you can judge by yourself whether his behaviour was acceptable or not. I know that other artists who are gays and had also represented their countries in the contest but they did not behave like he did. Moreover in contract to previous press conferences no one from the Israeli delegation had attended the press conference. He also commented on political issues things that contradict EBU regulations. Probably most of you saw the event where he kissed the narrators of the contest before reading out the scores of the various countries participating in the second semi final.
מציע שבשנים הבאות להחתים את האומנים על מסמך בהם הם מתחייבים להתנהג בצורה המכבדת את המעמד בה הם נמצאים והמדינה אותה הם מייצגים.
I do recommend for next years that the broadcasting authorities sign the artist in his contract a code of conduct that he has to follow.
בעקבות זאת במסיבת עיתונאים עם המנחים ליאון קיכלר עיתונאי מטעם מאקו ביקש את התייחסות המנחים לגבי ההתנהגות של מיכאל בן דוד. הוא השתמש במילה הלא נכונה באנגלית במקום להגיד eliminated - הדחה הוא השתמש במילה disqualified שמשמעתו פסילה . המנחים כנראה לא הבינו את ההבדל בין 2 המילים ואז החלה חרושת של שמועות שישראל נפסלה בגלל התנהגותו של מיכאל בן דויד. זה הביא לכך שאיגוד השידור האירופי הוציא הודעה האומרת מפורשות שישראל לא נפסלה אלא פשוט לא עלתה לגמר. על כן על העיתונאים לברור טוב את המילים בהם הם משתמשים כדי למנוע אי נעימויות מכל הצדדים הנוגעים בדבר.
MAKO journalist: All the media in Israel is criticising Michael, not about the song and not about the disqualification, but about the interruption to you before you started the vote when he crashes your stage and started reading from your teleprompter, waving the flag and kissing you. The question is how did you react about what he did, how do you feel about that?
Alessandro Cattelan: Okay, has he been disqualified? I didn’t know that.
Mika: Yes, yes of course. He didn’t go through.

תגובת איגוד השידור האירופי:לשאלה של ESCXTRA אודות "פסילתה" של ישראל
The response of EBU concerning the disqualification of Israel from ESC 2022.
We can clarify that Israel has not been disqualified from the Eurovision Song Contest; they did not qualify from the semi-finals and so will not perform in the Grand Final. There was a misunderstanding in a press conference yesterday (13 May) featuring the Eurovision Song Contest show hosts. A journalist asked a question referencing Michael Ben David, at the conference and used the term ‘disqualified’ whereas what he meant was that Michael Ben David had not qualified for the final. The hosts understandably misunderstood his question and hence why this has been reported as such.
It's better that the journaliss will be cautious using the appropraite words otherwise it can cause to misundertanding and embarassement.
זה מזכיר לי אנקדוטה מתחרות האירווזיון שהתקיימה בבלגרד שבסרביה. דנה אינטרנשיונל היתה אחד מכותבי השיר של בועז מעודה. באותו אירווזיון היתה נציגה השבדית שייצגה גם אותה בתחרות האירוויזיון שהתקיימה בשנת 1999 בירושלים. בקיצור אחד האוהדים רצה לשאות אותה על תגובתה שהנציגה השבדית מתייחסת אליה עדיין בלשון זכר הוא לא ידע אנגלית טובה והשתמע מהשאלה שלו דבר אחר. דנה אינטרנשיונל איבדה את עשתונותיה והחלה לתקוף את העיתונאים על חוצפתם. בסופו של דבר נרגעה .
It reminds an anecdote from the press conference happened in Belgrade on 2008. Dana International was one of the composers of the song The Fire of Your Eyes sang by Boaz Maudah. Also on that contest there was the same Swedish singer of esc 1999 represented Sweden again. One of the fans who did not know english well was asking about her altitude towards the Swedish singer that still regard her as a man. Dana thoght that he asked her something else and she got aggreviated. It took awhile till she calmed down. In this case if you are not fluent in english it's better that you ask in you mother tongue languge especially if you are attending an Israeli press conference..

היום מתקיים חצי הגמר השני בתחרות אירוויזיון 2022. כאן 11 משדר את התכנית ישירות מטורינו בשעה 22:00. חצי הגמר השני יסתיים ב-00:15. היום ישראל משתתפת בחצי הגמר השני. ישראל היא שיר מספר 2. בהצלחה למיכאל בן דוד ומזל טוב לרגל הצעת הנשואים שלו עם בחיר ליבו. לאחר מכן תתקיים מסיבת עיתונאים עם עשרת המדינות העולות לגמר. כמו כן תערך הגרלה ובו ייקבע באיזו חלק תופיע כל מדינה. לאחר מכן ייערך שיבוץ סופי של כל 26 המדינות המשתתפות בגמר. הגמר כאמור מתקיים במוצאי שבת 14/5/22.
Today is the second semi final of ESC 2022. Kan is broadcasting it directly from Turin Italy. Israel is participating today with song number 2. Good Luck to Michael Ben David and congrtaulations for his engagement with his boyfriend (Fiance). The second semi final start at 22:00 Israeli local time and ends on 00:15. Afterwards there will be a press conference with the 10 countries that went to final on Saturday 14/5/22.. In the press conference there will be a draw to which half the country will perform. Afterwards a final allocation of the 26 countries participating in the final will be determined.

Tidau there is the first semi final of ESC 2022. Kan 11 is broacsting it directly from Turin Italy. It begins at 22:00 Israel Local time and ends at 00:15. Afterwards there will be a press conference with the 10 countries twho went to final. Also there will be a draw and countries will know at which half they are going to perform in final on 14/5/22.

בעקבות נצחונה של ארמניה בתחרות שהתקיימה בפריז בשנה שעברה הוחלט כי ירוואן תארח את התחרות השנה ביום ראשון 11/12/22. התחרות תתקיים באותו אולם בה כהתקיימה התחרות בשנת 2011.
This year the Junioreurovision is going to be held in Yerevan Armenia. It is going to be in the same arena as it used to be in 2011.

עוד לא עבר שבוע מאז נצחונה של אוקראינה בתחרות וכבר ביום שישי הקרוב נערכת פגישה ראשונה בין רשות השידור האוקראינית ואיגוד השידור האירופי לגבי אירוח התחרות באוקראינה.
כידוע אוקראינה נמצאת במצב לוחמה עם רוסיה וקץ המלחמה טרם נראה באופק. נשאלת השאלה האם אוקראינה תהיה מסוגלת לארת התחרות בתנאים הקיימים שם. להזכירכם התחרות שהתקיימה בקייב בשנת 2005 לוותה בחששות כבדים באם תתקיים או לאו אולם בסופו של דבר לאחר התייצבות המצב הפוליטי שם התחרות התקיימה בסופו של דבר בקייב..
We are in a less than a week since the ESC 2022 is over. In coming friday there is the first meeting between the Ukrainian TV and EBU about organising the contest in Ukraine 2023. As you know probaly there is a constant war between Ukraine and Russia at the moment. The question is whether Ukraine is capable of hosting the contest or not. In 2005 there was a similar situation and although Ukraine had it's Orange Revolution , at last the contest held in Kyiv Ukraine.

Before dealing with the global situation Ukraine has to decide about the law that enable the local artists representing their country if they breach the law and entered the Crimea peninsula not through the official Ukrainian crossing points. There was a lot of artists who had won the local Vidbir but did not get the ticket to Eurovision. In Vidbir in 2019 Maruv won the Ukrainian preselection but she did not get the ticket to Tel - Aviv because she had breached the laws. The offer to represent Ukraine in Tel Aviv was offered to the artists who had reached the second and the third place but they turn it down and Ukraine at last cancelled it's participation in ESC in Tel-Aviv 2019. Even this year first the Vidbir was a day before the war between the 2 countries begun and the singer was won the preselection had to resign because she breached the laws and the offer was given to Kalush Orchestra who had reached the second place and of course they accept the offer represented Ukraine and even won the contest.

Hopefully that Russia won't start the scenario that was in 2016.In 2016 Russia tried to do what ever she could to remove Ukraine from hosting the contest in 2017 but all her attempts failed. Moreover this year there were a hacker attack during the Grand Final but the hackers failed in their attempts.
בינתיים כמה רשתות שידור באירופה הציעו לארח את התחרות במידה ואוקראינה לא תוכל לעשוות זאת או לעמוד בתנאים שאיגוד השידור האירופי יציב בפניהם. כבר היו מדינות שלמרות זכייתן בתחרות לא אירחו את התחרות בארצם. האחרונה שבהם היתה מדינת ישראל שזכתה בתחרות שהתקיימה בירושלים בשנת 1979. רשות השידור הישראלית העבירה את שרביט האירוח להולנד בטענה שמבחינה כספית היא לא תוכל לארח שוב התחרות בשנת 1980. התחרות הועברה להולנד אבל בשל העובדה שזה נפל ביום הזיכרון ישראל ביטלה את השתתפותה בתחרות. באם אוקראינה לא תוכל לארח את התחרות נראה לי סביר שאירוח התחרות תוצא לאנגליה שהגיעה למקום השני בתחרות.
Several countries had also asked to host the contest next year in case Ukraine is not capable of doing so. There was some incidents that countries who had won the contest did not host it in the next year. Isreal won the contest in 1979 and due to financial difficulties IBA could not host the contest again in 1980. Holland had replaced Israel and Israel did not participate due to the face that the contest was one in the official memorial days in Israel. I think Uk should host the contest in case Ukraine could not host it because she reached the second place in Turin

אוקראינה כצפוי זכתה בתחרות אירוויזיון 2022. מלכתחילה זה היה צפוי שתזכה בתחרות כאות הזדהות למאבקה עם רוסיה. נקווה שהמלחnה בינה לבין רוסיה לא תתחלחל בזירה זו באם היא יכולה לארח התחרות או לאו. בסרט הזה כבר היינו.
Ukraine at it was expected won the ESC 2022. Hopefully the rival between Ukraine and Russia wont effect Ukrainian's preparations of Ukraine to ESC 2023.
ואיך אפשר מבלי להזכיר את ישראל. ובכן ישראל היתה המדינה הראשונה בה החלו את מסע הפרסום שלהם. הם הופיעו במסגרת המופע Israel calling. גם בישראל הם עשו את הקלטת הגיבוי שלהם במקרה ולא יוכלו להופיע מכל סיבה שהיא בתחרות האירוויזיון.

ובכן אנחנו בגמר אירוויזיון 2022. ללא ספק זה אחד האירווזיונים השונים ביותר מאז שהתחלתי לסקור את התחרויות משנת 2007.
Well we are in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest. This is one of the peculiar Eurovision contests since I started to report about the various contests since 2007.
בעקבות הפרשיות עם מיכאל בן דויד נזכרתי שבתחרויות אירווזיון 2007 האנשים אשר קיבלו אקרדיטציה נתבקשו לחתום על טופס בהם הם מתחייבים לכסות את עלויות השהות שלהם שם. מודה אני שלא הייתי באתונה בה התקיים האחירוויזיון שנה לפני כן אבל כתוצאה מהתנהלות הישראלים שם שבאו לצפות בתחרות שם דרשה רשות השידור שמי שמהאוהדים והעיתונאים שנוסע להלסינקי יחתום על המסמך. מה שנראה לי כמובן מאליו שאני מכסה את עליוית הנסיעה שלי לא נראה כמובן מאליו לאנשים אחרים אשר נסעו לאתונה שנה לפני כן.
Following the incidences occurred with Michael Ben David i remembered that those who were accreidated in 2007 were asked to sing a paper saying that they are going to cover their expenses in ESC 2007. For me it was obvious that i am going to cover my travelling expenses in Helsinki Finland. What was obvious to me was not probably obvious to fans atteding the Eurovision Song Contest that was in Athens in 2006.
השנה איגוד השידור האירופי חתם הסכם עם עם טיק טוק והמעניק להם הבלעדיות בסיקור החזרות הראשונות למעשה הם הפיקו סרטונים בני 1:00 מכל מדינה בה נכללו הגעת האןמנים לאולם. התגובה שלהם כשראו את האולם , קטע קצרצר מהחזרה שלהם ולבסוף ראיונות עימם.. דבר זה גרם לנוכחות מועטה ביותר בקרב העיתונאים בסבב הראשון של מסיבות העיתונאים ולפעמים לא היו כלל אנשים באולם. מי יטריח את עצמו למסיבות עיתונאים כשלמעשה לא יכל לראות כלום מהחזרות כולל האנשים אשר שהו במרכז העיתונות. בשנים עברו ניתן היה לראות את החזרות על גבי מסכים שהוצבו במרכז העיתונאים אבל הצילום מהם נאסר כלל ומי שעז לצלם מהמסכים , האקרידיטמיה שלו נשללה מיידית.
This year was a big changes in the press center. In previous years on the first reherasals journalists could view the reherasals from the LED screens located in the press room.. This year due to the contract that EBU signed with Tik Tok they got their exclusiveness to video the first reherasalas. Of course the media people were not able to watch the first rehearsals on screens. This caused that there were a few people attended the Meet the Press conferences(First Rehearsals)
בחזרות השניות העיתונאים יכלו לראות את החזרות מהאולם אבל הכניסה לאולם נאסרה כליל בניגוד לשנים קודמות בה הותר להם להיכנס לאולם החזרות.. הפעם כמות העיתנאים שהיו נוכחים באולם העיתונות היתה גדולה במעט מהחזרות בחזרות הראשונות. גם אלו אשר היו במרכז הראו שמרכז העיתונות היה למעשה ריק מאנשים.
In the second reherasals people were able to see the rehersals through the LED screens but the acess to the arena was still forbidden. This was in contrary to previous years before where the media could enter the arena itself.

Only in the dress reherasals journalists were allowed to enter the arena itself.
התנהגות - אין אני בא לשפוט אם מיכאל בן דויד היה במיטבו או לאו אבל קצת דרך ארץ לא היתה מזיקה לו. אני מצרף את מסיבת העיתונאים השנייה בו הוא עבר את הגבולות של הטעם הטוב. נכון כולם מודעים שהוא בא מהלהטבים ויש לא מעט האמנים שייצגו את מדינותיהם הנמנים מאוכלוסיה זו אבל אף אחד לא התנהג בצורה מחפירה בה הוא התנהג. למעשה במסיבת העיתונאים השנייה הוא התמרח על כולם דבר שגרם לאי נוחות בקרב הצופים. כמו כן בניגוד לפעמים קודמות אף אחד מאנשי המשלחת לא ישב לידו דבר שיכל אולי למתן את התנהגותו.. כמו כן התייחס לעניינים פוליטיים דבר הנוגד את תקנות איגוד השידור האירופי.(הלוחמה בין אוקראינה ורוסיה)
Behaviour - I am not going to comment on the song IM sang by Michael Ben David but i do comment about his misbehaviour. I am enclosing the second press conference and you can judge by yourself whether his behaviour was acceptable or not. I know that other artists who are gays and had also represented their countries in the contest but they did not behave like he did. Moreover in contract to previous press conferences no one from the Israeli delegation had attended the press conference. He also commented on political issues things that contradict EBU regulations. Probably most of you saw the event where he kissed the narrators of the contest before reading out the scores of the various countries participating in the second semi final.
מציע שבשנים הבאות להחתים את האומנים על מסמך בהם הם מתחייבים להתנהג בצורה המכבדת את המעמד בה הם נמצאים והמדינה אותה הם מייצגים.
I do recommend for next years that the broadcasting authorities sign the artist in his contract a code of conduct that he has to follow.
בעקבות זאת במסיבת עיתונאים עם המנחים ליאון קיכלר עיתונאי מטעם מאקו ביקש את התייחסות המנחים לגבי ההתנהגות של מיכאל בן דוד. הוא השתמש במילה הלא נכונה באנגלית במקום להגיד eliminated - הדחה הוא השתמש במילה disqualified שמשמעתו פסילה . המנחים כנראה לא הבינו את ההבדל בין 2 המילים ואז החלה חרושת של שמועות שישראל נפסלה בגלל התנהגותו של מיכאל בן דויד. זה הביא לכך שאיגוד השידור האירופי הוציא הודעה האומרת מפורשות שישראל לא נפסלה אלא פשוט לא עלתה לגמר. על כן על העיתונאים לברור טוב את המילים בהם הם משתמשים כדי למנוע אי נעימויות מכל הצדדים הנוגעים בדבר.

The question is how did you react about what he did, how do you feel about that?

The response of EBU concerning the disqualification of Israel from ESC 2022.
We can clarify that Israel has not been disqualified from the Eurovision Song Contest; they did not qualify from the semi-finals and so will not perform in the Grand Final. There was a misunderstanding in a press conference yesterday (13 May) featuring the Eurovision Song Contest show hosts. A journalist asked a question referencing Michael Ben David, at the conference and used the term ‘disqualified’ whereas what he meant was that Michael Ben David had not qualified for the final. The hosts understandably misunderstood his question and hence why this has been reported as such.
It's better that the journaliss will be cautious using the appropraite words otherwise it can cause to misundertanding and embarassement.
זה מזכיר לי אנקדוטה מתחרות האירווזיון שהתקיימה בבלגרד שבסרביה. דנה אינטרנשיונל היתה אחד מכותבי השיר של בועז מעודה. באותו אירווזיון היתה נציגה השבדית שייצגה גם אותה בתחרות האירוויזיון שהתקיימה בשנת 1999 בירושלים. בקיצור אחד האוהדים רצה לשאות אותה על תגובתה שהנציגה השבדית מתייחסת אליה עדיין בלשון זכר הוא לא ידע אנגלית טובה והשתמע מהשאלה שלו דבר אחר. דנה אינטרנשיונל איבדה את עשתונותיה והחלה לתקוף את העיתונאים על חוצפתם. בסופו של דבר נרגעה .
It reminds an anecdote from the press conference happened in Belgrade on 2008. Dana International was one of the composers of the song The Fire of Your Eyes sang by Boaz Maudah. Also on that contest there was the same Swedish singer of esc 1999 represented Sweden again. One of the fans who did not know english well was asking about her altitude towards the Swedish singer that still regard her as a man. Dana thoght that he asked her something else and she got aggreviated. It took awhile till she calmed down. In this case if you are not fluent in english it's better that you ask in you mother tongue languge especially if you are attending an Israeli press conference..

Today is the second semi final of ESC 2022. Kan is broadcasting it directly from Turin Italy. Israel is participating today with song number 2. Good Luck to Michael Ben David and congrtaulations for his engagement with his boyfriend (Fiance). The second semi final start at 22:00 Israeli local time and ends on 00:15. Afterwards there will be a press conference with the 10 countries that went to final on Saturday 14/5/22.. In the press conference there will be a draw to which half the country will perform. Afterwards a final allocation of the 26 countries participating in the final will be determined.
