Yesterday there was the final in the French preselection for ESC 2022.
 

בגמר קדם הצרפתי התחרו 12 שירים  אבל רק 6 שירים עברו לשלב הבא.

In the French final 12 songs competed but only 6 songs proceded to the next stage.

הליך בחירת השירים מורכב מ-3 סיבובים. בסיבוב הראשון הקהל בוחר ב-5 שירים אשר עלו לשלב הבא. לאחר מכן בסיבוב השני חבר השופטים בוחר בשיר נוסף אשר לא עלה בסיבוב הקודם. לבסוף בסיבוב השלישי קהל השופטים והקהל בוחרים בשיר אשר ייצג אץת צרפת בתחרות אירווזיון 2022.
 

There were 3 rounds of voting. In the first round pubkic voted for the 5 songs that wenr to the next stage the super final/ In the second round the Jury voted for addirional song to the next stage. in the third round the Jury and public voting voted for the the Frenceh representative to ESC 2022.

Today there was the second semi final in the Icelandic preselection for ESC 2022.

בחצי הגמר השני השתתפו 5 שירים אבל רק 2 שירים העפילולגמר. 2 השירים נבחרו על ידי קהל המצביעים בלבד. לרשות השידור האיסלנדית שמורה הזכות לבחור בשיר אחד נוסף  מתוך השירים אשר לא העפילו לגמר משני חאי הגמר. שה"כ יתמודדו בגמר 5 שירים בלבד.

5 songs participated in the second semi final  but only 2 songs went to final.. The 2 songs were chosen by public televoting only. RUV reserves the right  to choose anther song  from the 2 semi finals (Wild card) that did not went to final  and that's brings  to 5 songs in the final.

יש לציין  שהיום בחצי הגמר השני האמנים  שרובשפה האיסלנדית אולם בגמר הם יכולים לשיר בשפה אותה הם מעדיפים. שפת השיר שהם ישירו בגמר תהיה אותה שפה בהם ישירו את השיר בתחרות האירוויזיון. אשר יתקיים בחודש מאי בטורינו שבאיטליה.

In the second semi final the Icelandic singers have to sing their song in the Icelandic language only Alas in the final they can sing in any language they wish  too but in the Eurovision Song Contest they  will sing in the same language they sang in the final itself.

Russia was expelled from the Eurovisaion Song Contest 2022.

Due to the current events in Europe EBU expelled Russia from the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

I am enclosing the EBU Statement  on Russia in the ESC 2022.

Some eurovision countries demanded that Rusiia will be expelled from the contest. Finaland even declared that if Russia is going to participate she is going to ban the contest this year.

Following the current  events in Europe. The sateric programme Zeuo Ze (That's It) brings a programme about  The Quasi Entitles Band. The Lazy Bums represented Israel 35 years ago and the programme  is based on the song they sang  on that Eurovision Song Contest
