היום בערב מתקיים חצי הגמר הראשון בתחרות אירוויזיון 2024. יתחרו בו 15 מדינות ובסוף הערב נדע מי הם 10 המדינות העולות למר שיתקיים בשבת ב-11/5/24.השנה בניגוד לשנה שעברה חלו שינויים. ראשית 10 המדינות בעולות לגמר ייבחרו על ידי הקהל בלבד. במידה ותהיה תקלה כלשהיא הצבעת השופטים תלקח בחשבון. כמו כן 2 מדינות מהגדולות והמדינה המארחת יופיעו בחצי הגמר הראשון.
Today there will be the first semi final. There will be some changes in the voting system. This year unlike previous years the audience is going to decide the 10 countries that are going to the final tonight. Also 2 of the big countries and the hosting country are going to perform tonight alongside with the other participants. In case of any problem in the voting system EBU is going to use the jury vote also.

לאחר שנדע מי הם 10 המדינות העולות לגמר תערך הגרלה באיזה חלק מגמר הם ישתתפו. האם בחלק הראשון או השני. מדינות אשר לא יקבע להם החלק , ההפקה תקבע באיזה חלק ישתתפו וגם את שיבוצם הסופי בתחרות.
As soon as we will know the 10 countries there will be a draw on which part of the final they will perform. This year there is another option the blank option that the producers are going to determine also the half they are going to perforn amd it's allocation too.
