SVT had revealed the names of the songs participating in the Swedish Melodfestivalen - The Swedish preselection for ESC 2024.This year there are changes in the Swedish preselection for ESC 2024. There will be 5 heats. No more Second Chance. The first 2 songs from each heat  that scores the highest points will proceed to the final. The jury and the televoting will vote again for the songs that reached places 3-4 in the various heats  and the 2 songs that got the highest points will proceed also to the final on 9/3/2014. and thus there will be 12 songs in the final.
