ESC 2024 is over and now EBU is in a full swing towards JESC 2024. The JESC 2024 is going to be on Madrid on 16/11/24 and 11 countries are going to take part in it. We have already 2 singers one from Italy and the other one from Estonia. In Italy the winner of the Voice Kids show  Simon Granbe is going to represent his country in the contest. In Estonia 4 finalist had to sing 2 songs. The first song each finalist sang a song by himself and then a song with known Estonoian artist. At last Annbelle Ats won the preselection and is going to represent her country in JESC 2024.

In Swiss the EBU and the Swiss Broadcasing are discussing about hosting ESC 2025. The 3 cities that had submitted their candidacy are Geneva ,St. Gallen and Basel.
 

בג'נבה ממוקם המשרדים הראשיים של איגוד השירות האירופי, בבאזל תיאודור הרצל חזה את מדינת היהודים. וסנט גאלן נמצאת במרכז שוויץ ןלאחרונה שופץ אולם  Olma  היכול להכיל בעת ובעונה אחת 12,000 צופים.

H.E. The President of Israel Isaac Herzog is in the right side of the picture and Theodor Herzl is in the left hand side of the picture.

 In Geneva the headquarters of EBU is located  In Basel  Theodor  Herzel was the founder of the political founder of the political form of Zionism , a movement to establish a Jewish homeland.and St Gallen is located in the center of Swiss. Laterly the Olma hall rebuilt and now he can host 12,000 spectators.

 

Swiss is the winner of ESC 2024. Swiss with represented by Nemo with the song The Code. Congratulations!!! Enclosing the videoclip of the winning song!!!

 

 

עדן שלנו הגיעה למקום החמישי המכובד עם 375  נקודות 323 נקודות קיבלה מהקהל ו-52 נקודות קיבלה מחבר השופטים.. קבלו את הביצוע שלה בגמר.

 

Eden Golan reached the 5th place 375 points. 323 from public voting and 52 points from the Jury votes. Enclosing her videoclip from the final.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Netherlands was disqualified from the Grand final of ESC 2024. According  to EBU Press release  he was disqualified due to misbehaviour towards one of  the Sewish technical  members. At first he  was not allowed to take part in the various dress rehearsals of the finals. An  investigation by the Swedish police is being taken and EBU had decided to disqualify  him immediately from the contest. Any artist who is loosing his temper has to be disqualified immediately from any contest especially if he is representing any country.

את יחס  הזמר כלפי  עדן גולן כבר ראינו במסיבת עיתונאים שהתקיימה ביום חמישי בלילה ל-10 המדינות שעלו לגמר. עיתונאי פולין שאל את עדן גולן האם היא לא חושבת שעצם נוכחותה בתחרות מסכנת אותה ואת שאר הנוכחים בתחרות. מנחה מסיבת עיתונאים ציין מפורשות שהיא אינה חייבת לענות על השאלה ואז הזמר ההולנדי שאל מדוע שלא תענה? אם שמתם לב כשעדן גולן דיברה הוא כיסה את ראשו בדגל ההולנדי אותה הוא מייצג את התחרות. אנחנו חיים בעולם דמוקרטי וזכותו של כל אדם שיהיה לו דעות השונות מדעותי אבל יש גם כללי קודים מסויימים הנדרשים מכל אומן או איש משלחת המשתתף בתחרות. ההתנהגות שלו במהלך מסיבת העיתונאים היתה ילדותית והוא בייש את עצמו ואת המדינה שהיה אמור  לייצג  אותה.

The  artist altitude towards Eden Golan we saw during the winners conference of the qualifiers from the second semi final. A Polish journalist had asked Eden Golan  if her persence in the contest is not endangering other paricipants of the contest. The  narrator of the press conference immediately said that she is not obliged to answer this question. Then the Dutch artist asked Why Not? If you paid attention during the press conference he covered his head with the Netherlands flag. Ok we are living in democratic world  but  some Code of Conduct  is expected  from the artists and the delegations participating in the contest. His behaviour during the press conference was childish and he abused himself and the country he is representing for.

The second semi final is over. Now we are witing for the results and soon we will know who are the 10 qualifiers  to the final on 11/5/24. Soon after the announcement of the 10 qualifiers there will be a draw to which part of the final they are going to perform. This year thee is another option  that some of the countries will get a blank paper and that means that he producers will determine on which half  they will perform. Right after the draw we will know the final allocation of all the countries who are participating in the final.

Today is the second semi final .In this semifinal 16 countries are going to participate  including Israel. Israel song number 14 There will be some changes in the voting system. This year unlike previous years, The audience is going to decide who are  the 10 qualifiers that go to the  final. Also 3 countries from the Big 5 are going to perform tonight.

As soon as we know who are the lucky 10 qualifiers there will be a draw to which half the country will perform in the final. This year there is another option a blank paper. That's mean that the producers are  going to the determine on which half the country is going to perform. Soon after the second semi final we will know the countries allocation in the final.

Today there will be the first semi final. There will be some changes in the voting system. This year unlike previous years the audience is going to decide the 10 countries that are going to the final tonight. Also 2 of the big countries and the hosting country  are going to perform tonight alongside with the other participants. In case of any problem in the voting system EBU is going to use the jury vote also.
