Today we have some news from Greece , Georgia and the Netherlands. In Greece there will be changesin the format of it's preselection for ESC 2026 , In Georgia the hosting cuntry had decided upon it's venue to host the event and in the Netherlands the 11 participants had allocated into 4 groups.

יוון - רשות השידור היוונית הודיעה על שינויים בתצורתץ הקדם שלה לתחרות אירוויזיון 2026. ראשית ההרשמה לקדם תפתח בשלב מוקדם יותר אומנים יוכלו להגיש את מעומדותם החל מ-18/10/25 ועד 18/11/25.. שנית בקדם השנמה יהיו 2 חצאי גמר וגמר אחד.
 

Greece -  There will vbe some changes in the format of the Greek preselection for ESC 2026. First artists wishes to participate in the Greek preselection  for ESC 2025 can submit earlier their applications from 18/10/15 till 18/11/25. Second - The Greek preselection for ESC 2026 is going to have 2 semi finals and 1 Grand Final. Stay tuned for additional information concering about this issue.

 

גיאורגיה - גיאורגיה המדינה המארחת את תחרות אירוויזיון הילדים השנה החליטה כי האולם שיארח התחרות יהיה אותו אולם שאירח את התחרות בשנת 2017. זה אולם Olympic Palace. האולם יכול להכיל כ-3,700 מקומות עם אפשרות להרחבה בהתאם.

Georgia - Georgia the hosting country of JESC 2025 had decided that the Olympic Arena in Tiblisi is going to host JESC 2025. This is the same arena that had hosted the previous JESC 2017 that was held in Tiblisi.

הולנד - הולנד שבצה את 11 המעומדים שלה ל-4 קבוצות בו יתחרו בקדם שלה לתחרות איוויזיון הילדים 2-25. הקדם יתקיים ב-20/9/25.  להלן שיבוץ 11 המתמודדים ל-4 הקבוצות. כל קבוצה תקבל שיר עימו תצטרך להופיע הקדם הילדים ההולנדי לתחרות אירוויזיון הילדים 2025.

 

 

Holland -  Holland had allocated it's 11 participants in Junior Festival into 4 groups. Each group will get a song where they will perform it in the Junior Festival on 20/9/25. Here are the 4 groups

North macedonoa had selected it's representative to JESC 2025. Meanwhile in the Netherlands and Georgia we have the finalists waiting for their selection in their  national preselections for JESC 2025.
 

צפון מקדוניה בחרה בבחירה פנימית את נציגתה לתחרות אירוויזיון הילדים 2025 אשר תתקיים בחודש דצמבר הקרוב בטיבליסי,  גיאורגיה. פרטים נוספות אודות השיר שתשיר מעל במת התחרות  ימסר  בשלב מאוחר יותר. Nela Manceska  תייצג את ארצה בתחרות.

Nela Manceska is going to represent North Macedonia in coming JESC 2025.  Additional information about her song  she is going to sing in JESC 2025  will be given in due course.

במדינה המארחת  גיאורגיה -תוכנית הריאלטית רנינה תבחר שוב  בנציג הגיאורגי לתחרות אירוויזיון הילדים 2025.  10 מתמודדים בתוכנית  . תוכנית הריאלטי רנינה תכלול 4 סיבובים. בסיבוב הראשון יהיו 4 תוכניות בהם המתמודדים ישירו בכל תוכנית בסגנון שירה שונה. לאחר מכן 5 מתמודדים שקיבלו את מירב הנקודות יעפילו לשלב חצי הגמר. בשלב חצי הגמר 5 המתמודדים יתמודדו שוב  ו-3 המתמנודדים אשר יקבלו את מירב הנקודות יעפילו לשלב הגמר בה ייבחר הנציג הגיאורגי לתחרות אירוויזיון 2025 אשר תתקיים בחודש דצמבר בטיבליסי שבגיאורגיה.

In the hosting country Georgia - Ranina reality show is going to select the Georgian representative to JESC 2025. In the first phase there will be 4 rounds and in each round the participants will sing in different music styles. The first 5 participants are going to proceed to the semi final stage. In the semi final stage  the 3 participants that get  the high scores will proceed to the final where the Georgian representaive 2025 will be selected.

Due to the Winter Olympic Games in Milan - Cortina  , The San Remo Festival 2026 will be held  in the of month 24-28/2/26. The dates' change cause that Italy will be one of countries who is gong to select it's entry to ESC 2026. Moreover the winner of the san Remo Festival has the right to refuse to represent his country in ESC 2026.. In case of refusal than the artists who had reached the second or the third place in San Remo Festival is going to represent his Italy in ESC 2026.

 

Changes in the formats of the Austrian and Spanish preselections for ESC 2026.
 

אוטריה המדינה המארחת את תחרות אירוויזיון 2026 לא נחה לרגע. רשות השידור האוסטרית רמזה על שינויים בבחירת הנציג האוסרי לתחרות.  קיימת אפשרות שלקראת תחרות האירוויזיון ה-70 המדינה המארחת תערוך קדם בו ייבחר הנציג האוסטרי לתחרות. בעשור האחרון אוסטריה בחרה את נציגה בבחירה פנימית ועתה קיימת האפשרות שתחזור לשיטה זו של קיום קדם לבחירת הנציג.

Austria the hosting country of ESC 2026  is in a full swing and now ORF inform that there will be a change in selecting the Austrian representaive to ESC 2026. There is a possiblity that the Austrian representative to ESC2026 will br selected through preselection. . In the last decade Austria had selected it's representative to ESC 2026 in an internal selection.

שינויים מרחיקי לכת בפסטיבל בנידורם  Benidorm Festival - הקדם הספרדי לתחרות אירוויזיון 2026. ראשית הוחלט שהזמר שניצח התחרות יקבל מענק בגובה 150,000 יורו שיתחלק בין הזמר(100,000 יורו)  ופזמונאי השיר (50,000 יורו). שנית כבר מהיום ניתן להגיש שירים להשתתפות בפסטיבל. מועד הגשת השירים תסתיים ב- 24/9/25. עם סיום מועד הגשת השירים הועדה תבחר ב-20 שירים שישתתפו בפסטיבל ו-6 שירים נוספים שישמשו כרזרבה במידה ואחד השירים המשתתפים יפרוש מהתחרות.. שלישית שינוי בשיטת ההצבעה מעתה בשלושת ימי  בפסטיבל תהיה על ידי חבר שופטים מקצועי שיהווה 50% מכלל הקולות והצבעת הקהל שגם הוא יהווה 50% מכלל הקולות. הצבעת הקהל תתחלק לשני חלקים. 25% מטלווטינג ו-25% מחבר שופטים הנבחר באופן אקראי המייצגים את דעת הקהל הספרדית.

There will be some changes in Benidorm Festival - The Spanish preselection for ESC 2026. First the winner of the festival will get a grant of 150,000 Euros. It will be splited among the singer and the song writers, The singer will get 100,000 Euros and the song writers 50,000 Euros. Second - You can submit your song to the festival from today till the 24/9/25. When the sumission period is over a commitee of RTVE is going to select 20 songs  for the festival. An adfdfitional 6 songs will be selected as a reserve in case 1 song or more will have quit from the contest. Third changing in the voting system. Now there will be Profeesional Jury (50%)  and Public voting (50%). The public will be splitted to 2 groups televoting (25%) and randomely Jury that represents the Spanish public (25%)

 

In the instagram page of Zeit Im Bild Newspaper  it was announced that on 8/8/25 we will know exactly which city  is going to host ESC 2026. Also on this day we will know  the final date of the Grand Final of ESC 2026. Currently now  there are 2 optional dates,  the first optional date is  on 16/5/26 and the second optional date is a week later on 23/5/26. Stay tune for additional information on this issue.

 

ORF is calling for cities who wish to host the ESC 2026 to submit their applications not later than 4/7/25 12:00 C.E.T.

The selectiong process will be in 2 stages. In the first stage a city wishing to host the event have to apply to ORF. After applying to ORF they will get the full prerquisures for hosting the event. They have to cope with the following requirements:

* An adequate infrustrucure and capability to host ESC 2026.

* Proximity to internationl port/airport

* The ability of organising such event and the possibilty of giving an adequate  security and safety  for the delegations and fans arriving to city during the event itself.

* The arena should be free for 8 weeks. 7 weeks before the event and 1 week after and the arena should have the capacity of 10,000 spectators.

ORF is not going to diclose the names of cities that had submitted their application to host the event.
 

נקבעו 2 תאריכים פוטנציאליים לקיום התחרות. האחד קיום התחרות בשבוע של  ה-16/5/26  והאפשרות השנייה בשבוע שלאחר מכן דהיינו בשבוע של ה-23/5/26.

The ESC 2026 itself is expected to be on the week of 16/5/26 or a week afterwords on 23/5/26.

Today 2 representaives had been chosen to represent their country in JESC 2025 the first one from Poland and the second one from Albania. Meanwhile in the Netherlands they had reached the final stage where the candidates are going to participate in the final and the winner  is going to represent Holland in coming JESC 2025. Each group is going to get a song and  video clip where they will sing in in the the Dutch preselection scheduled to be on 20/9/25.

Hoiland revealed the first 6 singers that are going to take part in it's preselection for JESC 2025. When we will know all the finalists  Avrotros is going to split them into 4 categories. Eaach category will get an original song that they will have to perform in Junior Song Festival scheduled to be on 20/9/25. The winner of the festival is going to represent the Nethetlands in comimng JESC 2025.

 

Poland chose it's representative to JESC 2025.Marianns Klos  reaching the second place in the local Voice Kids Reality  Show is going to represent Poland in coming Junior eurovision 2025. No details were given about the song she is going to sing on stage.

Kroni Pula תייצג את ארצה בתחרות אירוויזיון הילדים 2025 אשר תתקיים בחודש דצמבר בטיבליסי שבגיארגיה. בקדם  האלבני התחרו 29 אומנים בשתי קטגוריות. קטגורית ה- Young  וקטגורית ה- Junior. לבסוף מי שזכתה בקטגורית הג'וניור תייצג את ארצה בתחרות אירוויזיון הילדים 2025. הנציגה האלבנית נבחרה בהצבעת השופטים בלבד. היו 2 קבוצות שופטים שופטים רגילים ושופטים שהורכבו מילדים. הצבעת חברי השופטים הרגילים והילדים היוותה 50% כל אחד מכלל הקולות. רצ"ב השיר שזיכה את הזמרת לייצג את ארצה בתחרות אירוויזיון הילדים 2025.
 

 Kroni Pula is going to represent Albania in coming JESC 2025. 29 kids had competed in the festival in 2 categiries. The young and the Junior categories. At last the winner of the Junioe category got the ticket to JESC 2025. She was selected by 2 juries profesional Jury and Kids Jury (50%/50%). I am enclosing the song that won the Albanian preselection for JESC 2025:

 

 

In the Netherland  there was the fourth episode in the Dutch preselection for JESC 2025. In this episode we saw the candidates who had reached their last stage in the auditions hoping to secure a place in the Junior Songfestival 2025 - The Dutch preselection for JESC 2025.

ספרד אישרה את השתתפותה בתחרות אירוויזיון הילדים 2025 אשר תתקיים בחודש דצמבר בטיבליסי שבגיאורגיה.בינתיים רשות השידור הספרדית הוציאה קול קורא לילדים הרוצים להשתתף בקדם. עלים להיות בטווח הגילאים של 9-14 שנה. עליהם להגיש את המועמדות שלהם לא חאוחר ב-2/7/25. לאחר מכן ייערכו אודישנים למתמודדים וועדה מטעם רשות השידור הספרדית תבחר בנציג אשר ייצג את ספרד בתחרות אירוויזיון הילדים אשר תתקיים בחודש דצמבר בטיבליסי שבגיאורגיה.

Spain had confirmed it's participation in JESC 2025 scheduled to br on December 2025 in Tiblisi Georgia. Meanwhile kids wishing to take part in the Spanish preselection for Jesc 2025 have to submit their applications not later than 2/7/25. Afterwords there will be auditions for the candidates and a commitee from RTVE is going to select the Spanish represntative to JESC 2025.
 

אלבניה אישרה את השתתפותה בתחרות אירוויזיון הילדים 2025. לראשונה הנציג האלבני ייבחר בפסטיבל Festivali Mbarek Ombetari I Keneges Per Femije. הפסטיבל  ימשך  3 ימים 29 מתמודדים בפסטיבל  יתחרו ב- 2 קטגוריות. הקטגוריה הראשונה Junior והשנייה Young. הנציג האלבני לתחרות אירוויזיון הילדים 2025 ייבחר ביום ראשון 1/6/25.

Albania had confirmed it's participating in JESC 2025. For the first the Albanian representative to JESC 2025 will be selected through Festivali Mbarek Ombetar I kenges  Femije. There will be 3 days festival and on the first 2 days 29 candidates will sing their songs. There will be 2 categories the Junior category and the Young Ones. The Albanian representative for JESC 2025 will be chosen on 1/6/25.

Austria is in a full swing for selecting the city that is going to host ESC 2026. Currently the following cities are willing to host ESC 2026:
 

Wels - Lunz

Oberwart

Wien

Innsbruck

 

In June we will know who are the 3 cities that will  compete for hosting ESC 2026.

 

In July the hosting city of ESC 2026 will be determined.

The following criteria is going to be used in selecting the appropriate city hosting ESC 2026:

* Logistics & Infrustructure 

* Accommodation

* Proximity to Interntional airports.

DR informed that the Dannsk Melodi Grand Prix is expecte to be in Arena Nord in Frederikshaven in 14/2/26. The Arena Nord has the capcity of 4,000 standing audience and 2,600 seats.
