Today in  Latvia there is the first  semi final in the Supernova - The Latvian preselection for ESC 2026 , In  Sweden there is the first heat in the Swedish Melodfestivalen . In  Bulgaria there are selecting the artist that is going to represent her in ESC 2026 and in  Lithuania the second heat in Eurovizijas will be broadcast.

Yestrday there was the third duell in the radio for the 9th place in the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix. Sander Silva & Victorjusd won with the song Fritt Fall. They are joinning the other 2 singers thay won in previous 2 days.  Now we have 3 songers that had proceeded to the nesxt stage:

Toaday there is the Luxemnourg preselection for ESC 2026. 8 songers are going to participate. There will be 2 rounds in the preselection. In the first round the televoting is going to detrermine the 3 artists that go to the second round. In the second round Televoting and Jury are going to determine the Luxembourg representative to ESC 2026.

Portugal is going to reveal tommorrow  the names of songs participating in Festival Da Cancao 2026 - The Portuguese preselection for ESC 2026. There are 2 semi finals on 21/2/26 and 28/2/26 and the Grand Final on 7/3/26. It is interesting to know who os going to win the festival and if he is going to represent his country in the Eurovision Song Contest. Currently most of the artists declared that if the are going to win they are not going to represent their country in ESC 2026 due to Israeli participation in the contest. They simply boycott Israel by refusing to participate in the Eurovision Contest if Israel will participate.

Noam Bittan is going toi represent Israel in coming ESC 2026. He got an overall score of 192 points.

בסיבוב הראשון לאחר ש-4 המועמדים ביצעו את שירם אלונה ארז הגיעה למקום הרביעי ופרשה מהתחרות. כעת הגיע הסיבוב השני שבו השתתפו   שירה זלוף , גל דה פאז  ונועם ביתן. עם תום ביצוע השירים שלהם הם קיבלו מצוות השיפוט את התוצאות הבאות

When the first round was over Alona Erez was ekiminated. Then came the second round. Whe the second round finished was over . the 3 singers got the scores from the Jury and it was as follows:

Finalnd released the 5 th song out of 7 participating in UMK 2026. Antti Paalanaes is the singer with the song Takatukka.
 

 

 

Despite the selection of the Israeli representaive to ESC 2026 there are some events connrested to the contest itself.

שוויץ בחרה את Veronica Fusars לייצגה בתחרות האירוויזיון אשר תתקיים בחודש מאי בוינה שאוסטריה. לא נמסרו פרטים אודות השיר אותו תבצע על במת האירוויזיון.
 

Swiss chose Veronica Fusaru to represent her in coming ESC 2026. No details were given about the song itself or when it is going to be released.

8 שירים יתמודדו על מיקום השיר ה-9 בקדם הנורבגי לתחרות אירוויזיון 2026. החל מהיום ייערך דו קרב בין האומנים. בכל יום 2 אומנים. הקהחי יוכל להצביע באפליקציה ייעודית למשך 24 שעות. ההצבעה נפתחת כל יום ב-11:00 (שעון ישראל) ונסגרת לאחר 24 שעות. עם סגירת החלון יודעו מי האומן שיעבור לשלב. בסוף השלב הנוכחי יתחרו 4 אמנים על המקום ה-9 בקדם עצמו. 

8 songs are going to compete as the 9 th song in the NOrwegian Melodi grand Prix. Every daty 2 songs are going to compete and public voting is going to decide on which song is going to the next stage. At the end of this stage 4 songs will go the nesxt stage. The voting begins everyday for 24 hours starting fromm 10:00 C.E.T. After 24 hours the song that will go to the next stage will be informed.
