בהודעה מוקדמת מהצפוי איגוד השידור האירופי קבע כי בתנאים הנוכחים התחרות לא תתקיים באוקראינה ואפילו החל בשיחות עם אנגליה לאירוח התחרות. כידוע אנגליה הגיעה בתחרות שנערכה בטורינו למקום השני עם Sam Ryder עם השיר Space man. כאות הוקרה על זכייתו במקום השני הוא הוזמן לשיר בקונצרט שנערך על ידי BBC לרגל 70 שנות המלוכה של המלכה אליזבת השנייה. השמועות החלו לרוץ שהתחרות תתקיים בבירת סקוטלנד גלזגו מוצא הזמר אבל עוד חזון למועד.
EBU had issued an announcement that in the current situaution in Ukraine the ESC can not be held there. United Kingdom had reached the second place in the ESC held in Turin Italy so EBU started to negotiate with BBC about hosting the contest in the United Kingdom. Rumors already begun that Glasgow in Scotland will host the ESC 2023 but there is still enough time to decide about the hosting city of the contest.
As a result of the second place in the ESC 2022 Sam Ryder was invited to perform in the Queen Platiniuym Palace in the Palace. I am enclosing his performance in the event.
