שלשום נערך חצי הגמר בקדם המלטזי לתחרות אירווזיון 2022. בקדם המלטזי התחרו 22 שירים אבל רק 16 שירים מתוכם עלו לשלב הגמר.
On Thursday there was the Maltese semi final in it's preselection for ESC 2022. 22 songs participated in the semi final but only 16 of them went to final.

The songs were selected by Jury and televoting (50%/50%)
