איסלנד חשפה את השירים שימודדו בקדם שלה לתחרות אירוויזיון 2002. הקדם האיסלנדי מורכב משני חצאי גמר שיתקיימו ב-26/2/22 וב- 5/3/22 והגמר שיתקיים 12/3/22.
האמנים בשני חצאי הגמר חייביים לשיר בשפה האיסלנדית אבל אם הם עולים לגמר הם יכולים לשיר באיזו שפה שהם רוצים. השפה שהם ישירו בגמר תהיה אותה שפה בה ישירו בתחרות האירוויזיון.
Iceland disclosed the songs articipating in it's preselection for ESC 2022. The Icelandic preselection consist of 2 semi finals and 1 final. The 2 semi finals will be on 26/2/22 and 5/3/22 and the final on 12/3/22. In the 2 semi finals the artists should perform their ong in the Icelandic language but if the artist goes to the final he can sing in any language he likes. The lnguage thay he chooses to sing in the final will be the same language in the Eurovision Song Contest.
בכל חצי גמר מתחרים 5 שירים ומתוכם קהל המצביעים בוחר בשני שירים והם עולים לגמר. כמו כן קיימת אםשרות שרשות השידור האיסלנדית תבחר בזמר נוסף מאלו אשר לא עלו לגמר (Wild Card).
In each semi final there are 5 singers. Public vote for the songs they like and the 2 singers that got the highest points will grant the ticket to the final.RUV reserves the right to add aditional singer from thosewho did not go to final (Wild Card)
בגמר הנציג האיסלנדי לתחרות האירוויזיון ייבחר על ידי חבר שופטים בינלאומים והצבעת טלווטינג כאחד.
In the final he winner is going tobe chosen y international jury and public televoting.
